In my house, I have very spotty cell reception. I used to rely on Verizon messenger to send my SMS messeges over wifi when I would lose reception. Unfortunately it stopped working recently. I'm not sure what exactly caused it. I tried doing a factory reset of the application and it still gives me the problem.
If I have the phone with no cell reception and wifi on, it refuses to connect to wifi and will eventually fail to send:
But If I put my phone in airplane mode and turn on wifi so it has no access to cell towers, it sends over wifi just fine:
As soon as I come out of airplane mode, it disconnects from verizon sync via wifi and won't connect. Is there any way to force the app to prefer wifi?
