My voice mail notifications wouldn't go off. It stays on saying I have 7 Voice Messages and I dont. I tried to turn on/off wifi, mobile data, and the phone itself. Any ideas on how to get it to go off?
This can really get annoying amygerman. No one likes false notifications, therefore; we shall find a way to correct your indicator for you. When did you notice this on your device? Where the voice mails deleted or fully heard? Try going into Application Manager (Settings > Applications > Application Manager > All) and clear the data for the Phone app and keep us posted. I can't find where it says clear all data.
Let's get this voicemail app cleared for you! Once you get into the application manager you will go to All->Voicemail App (will be in alphabetical order). When you click on the Voicemail app you will see the oprion to Force Stop and then Clear Data & Clear Cache. Once that is done you may go ahead and power your phone off & back on to see if the notifications are gone.
One other thig to try is dialing *86. I am not sure if you hvae tried that yet. See if you can access your voicemail the "old way". If you have messages in there see if you can delete them. Keep us posted!
