Dropped phone and now powers on and then shuts down. Did not do any visible damage. Just new at Christmas, can you help?
This means the inside of the phone is damaged and most likely needs repair at your cost or replacement with deductible if you have accidental insurance.

Do not have insurance on phone but since it was new would it be covered under manufacturers warranty.
No. Manufacturer warranty does not cover accidental damages from user handling.
