Google Camera gets an overhaul, released into Play Store for KitKat devices | Android Central
There's a new camera update, but only for phone updated to Kit Kat. So the good folks at Verizon that have the Note 3 are not able to be on the cutting edge of innovation. Why is that???

The above comment tells you all you need to know, regarding what we (the Galaxy Note 3 people) must endure. ...lol. Jonathan, assuming you're a real person, it would have been better not to respond at all. But thank you, yes, I am excited about receiving updates that make certain functions of my phone run better. I also get excited when the heater turns on in my car, when it's cold outside.
YEA it would be nice to get the update on a awesome phone as the note 3 but if VZW keeps on dropping the ball on us and leaving us behind will get old I'm looking at att or even US cellular who I actually work for.
Well Easter's coming around the corner it may come with the Easter Bunny:smileyhappy: to keep tabs on the OS check droid life periodically..
Easter Bunny probably will forget the white candy, eggs, and whatever else is white. That is, if the E Bunny works for VZW.
KitKat is actually out now. No one tells us this stuff either. It is not available as an OTA update pushed to your device. You have to install the Verizon Software Upgrade Assistant for the device. From there, plug in your device via USB and follow the directions. I did it and it really is KitKat. Good luck!

Well the thread is one the Galaxy Note 3 so I think he's probably got a Note 3 and downloaded K.K on it:smileyhappy:
I did that and did not see an update. It said my Note3 is up to date. It is still on 4.3
Do you think they wouldn't let anyone know Kitkat was available for the Note 3?

hmmm. I have a galaxy note 3 too and I want the Kit Kat update as well. bachinphx I may have to try your instructions on getting the Kit Kat update; if it doesn't work then I will try the OTA Update when it becomes available.
I installed KK today. Runs nice. A few performance updates as well. Apps open quicker, GPS locks in faster, SD card works fine. Some new apps installed. Here are some screens to prove it. :smileyhappy:

notice how in every pic he has both WiFi and 4G? He's full of crap if he got it any other way then hacking it!!!
It's because he didn't flip the 4G switch I've done this as well in past as, And when leaving your Home or a place that has Wi-Fi that phone used it's nice that it can re-engage the 4G.
You don't need to flip the mobile data on and off........it's automatic! If it was out more people would be on here saying they got it! He hacked it!!!! I've tried Verizon update assistant. ....nothing!!!! Kies 3.........nothing!!!!!!
It can use on how ya want to look at it.. no I don't always shut it off but there's times I do.. good day..
