That's not good Bonita123! We definitely want you to have that service in Canada. I can certainly assist. Are you still located in the same area of Canada? Also, have you tried removing and reinserting the SIM card? http://vz.to/1IBhwTl Please also ensure your Mobile Network settings are adequately reflecting under Settings>More>Mobile Networks to Global for the Preferred Network Mode and Allow for All trips for the Global Data Roaming access. Someone mentioned they bought a new Samsung Galaxy s6 and it had 5.1 one it, it sounds like a slow roll out so they aren't bombarded with e-mails and phone calls to fix whatever issues come along with it.
What phone do you have? What lollipop side affects are you encountering?

I have the S5 and have many issues. Haha. The most annoying one is texts delayed or saying they are sent but they don't get received

Then write to or call Samsung and tell them that they should release fixes to VZW.

I read on another site that, according to LG, the LG G3 would skip 5.1 and go to Android M. If this is true, it'll be a LONG time before we get fixes for our problems on the G3. I think it's time to consider another option.

Write to or call LG. They are the ones making the decision about what software version your device gets.

I want you to be able to make calls while you are in Canada Bonita123! What happens when you try to make a call out? Are you able to get calls? Has it always been like this?

It has been working very good. with good signal for call in and out and the same for text. Now I have nothing no service at all I believe since the 13th, I received a text from Verizon confirming they received my payment. a little ironic, 176.00 for no service. It just makes me want to cry!

But you do realize that Verizon doesn't have towers in any other country except the United States. So it not Verizon's fault that you can't connect and there isn't really much that can be done.
Try switching your setting to Global.

I updated my Galaxy S4 a couple of months ago with lollipop. It was a disaster. Verizon's answer was to replace my S4 with another because it couldn't be fixed (rep's recommendation, not mine). Now I have my brand spankin new phone and it keeps asking if I want to update with lollipop. I'M AFRAID! Has its problems been fixed or will I have issues with this now?

Whatever you do, DONT dare run that upgrade because you'll just find yourself in the same boat as before.
Keep hitting [Install Later] followed by ignoring the auto-upgrade notice. Lollipop 5.0 has turned out to be nothing short of a disaster. Wait for 5.1, then read the reviews of those who did do the upgrade on your model.

No need to be afraid momonthenet. Updates are suppose to fix your phone not harm it.If you do have an update you can download it. I do know sometimes 3rd party application from the Play store can conflict with the software due to in not having the updated software to be compatible with the Lollipop. Keep us posted.

At this point, Verizon will admit there were mistakes made and issue fixes on the second Tuesday of never. Verizon reps keep repeating the same troubleshooting steps that we all have done to no avail. They want people so frustrated that they run out and buy new phones and extend their contracts. Either way it is more money in their pockets, so why should they fix the problems they created.

It will be out as soon as they figure out how many licks it takes to get to the center of that lollipop!
