Where do I find the unlock code for my S4 Mini?

I will be traveling overseas for work. I need to unlock my S4 mini. Does anyone know the unlock code or where I can get it?

This is from a previous forum on the Galaxy S4:

"You need to have the phone unlocked before leaving the USA so you're able to use a SIM card from another carrier in London. Unlike the iPhone 5 this phone does not come unlocked.

If you need to unlock your phone you can contact our Global Support team at (800) 711-8300 if in the USA or  (908) 559-4899 if outside the country."

The S4 Mini is a 4G LTE global ready device and should be already SIM unlocked. http://www.phonescoop.com/phones/phone.php?p=4226

This doesn’t make it unlocked to be used with a different carrier does it? If not, how does that occur?
