Thank you so much for your reply. At least we've cleared 1 thing with regard to the FROYO update and that is one will be released soon. Alot of Verizon customer feels like we've been left in limbo not knowing for sure if an update will be released. I'll surely wait patiently for the update.
My wife got her Fascinate last year, mid October. The sales guy told us the update would be coming at the end of the month. It is now February, and there is no update.
Before you fall all over yourself thanking this guy, perhaps you should ask him to explain his idea of "soon."
I got mine on October 5th, and I was torn between the Fascinate and the Motorola Droid X, but I chose the Fascinate. When I was looking at it, the salesman in the Rochester NY store told me that "This phone will be updated to 2.2 Froyo soon, so your concerns about the lack of Flash will be resolved then". I asked him if he knew when exactly, he said he could not say, so I told him I would be up before the 30 days is up if it is not. Well, as we all know, it was not, I went up there 28 days later, and I told them that I was waiting for the update, and they told me that it was right around the corner. So they got me to wait for this update so I could not return the phone to replace it with something else.
I love the phone, and it works great with everything I do now, but Flash and the Car/Home dock problem with audio have me frustrated. I just want the phone to work the way the salesman told me it would.
