Why all of a sudden is my battery (Galaxy S5) discharging in a few hours

All of a sudden I can only get 5 hours on a single charge even when my phone is on, but not used.

Any answers, suggestions would be appreciated.  I've turned everything but calls and messages off.

Thanks...

Thanks everyone...the problem seem to be with the battery itself.  I've had this phone for about 6 months.  Up until a few days ago I had no problems...charge would last for up to 2 days.  All of a sudden it draining like crazy.  I ran batter doctor and closed everything that could drain the batter.  Still no luck.  Battery drained  3% in less then 10 minutes.

I've contacted our local Verizon store and they will take care of the problem.

I appreciate everyone's suggestions.

Have you checked settings > battery to see what's using the battery?

What is your normal phone recharge habit, such as how low do let your battery go before doing a charge and do you disconnect at 100% or when green LED comes on? If you know how to post a screen photo of what tikibar1 posted this could be helpful for us to help you.
