I did the newest update (just to get rid of the icon in my status bar)..NOW, I can not talk to TEXT! How do I switch it back? Or change that setting?

Long-press the key to the right of the Sym key; it should then give you a pop-up where you can toggle the microphone, clipboard, emoji, and Settings.
