Why does S4 shut down while still showing as much as 70% battery existing
BOBMAH3, having a reliable device is essential these days. The issue that you're experiencing is unique and I want to gather more information. What kind of things are you running or doing on the phone when it powers off? Is this the original battery? How old is your device?

Keeping your phone powered up and ready to go when you need it is a must. It is rather strange that your phone is turning off when there's still sufficient charge, so let's work together to figure out what's going on. When did you begin having the trouble? What are you using on the phone when it turns off? What displays on the screen when this happens (i.e. low battery indicator, a different error message, etc.)?
