Why does my device lag at the lock screen?

Touch screen lag at lock screen. I have to power my phone off and on just to be able to enter a password. Help!

Hi Thenigel,

Thanks for the update! Safe Mode disables third party applications from performing on the device. Since the device did not experience the lag when in Safe Mode, I would recommend removing applications from the device until you can locate the application that is causing the lag.

We want to make sure you're not experiencing any lag, thenigel. Is the lock screen the only area you have noticed a lag? Does this occur when in Safe Mode: http://vz.to/1hXIx6l If you go to Settings>System Updates do you have a new update available?

The phone is completely up to date. I did not experience the lag on safe mode, and lag only happens when i am trying to enter password.
