Within the last week the Family Base Companion has stopped working on my teens Galaxy S6s. It either won't start ot if you re-install you get a not compatible message.

I would suggest emailing the developer from the email address listed on the Play Store information for the application requesting that they fix the compatibility issues.

You might want to check if you are using the right version too. When I searched for the Family Base application, I found four different possible applications. As I don't use or need the application, I have no idea which one is the right one.

DarthKen, we want you to be able to use the applications. Let's look more into this. When did this start? Any application installed prior to this?

To be clear about what app does what:

"FamilyBase Companion" is installed on the kids phone and relays info to Verizon

"Verizon FamilyBase" is installed on parents phones and used to access the info.

This issue also is affecting my son's S6.  It appears to be related to the Android upgrade going to 6.x version for the "FamilyBase Companion" app.  Uninstall/reinstall of this app is not possible via normal methods due to the compatibility check Google Play does. The app is currently listed as "not compatible" with Android 6.x so Google Play does not offer you to download/reinstall it.

I'll try to pull up a backup apk and force the reinstall, but I have my doubts that will even work.  Either way, this is something only Verizon can resolve by updating the "FamilyBase Companion" app.
