Why is there no sound

I don't have aby sound where starting up or when I turn off the phone. Can someone tell me why?

Yes one everything except those..I have galaxy verizon S7 .32gig

What a peculiar quirk, mary5631. Just to run some additional basics before pulling out the heavy artillery, what is the system volume level up under Settings > Sounds and Vibrations > Volume ?
