HI, My S6 keeps turning the WiFi on to scan for networks. I have been able to turn this network discovery mode off prior to the Marshmallow update. I want to turn WiFi on when I want it on and have it remain off the rest of the time.
This is very odd, DRETAT54. Just to be certain I’m on the same page, are you going into Settings > Wi-Fi and turning Wi-Fi off when you’re not using it and Wi-Fi is turning back on? Also, when you go into Settings > Wi-Fi and tap MORE in the upper right corner then Advanced, do you have “Show Wi-Fi pop-up” and “Wi-Fi notifications” turned off?
