Will Verizon be shipping the Galaxy S7/S7 Edge early like T-Mobile?

T-Mobile users are reporting their phones have been shipped and are in-hand already, WAY before the official launch date. Will Verizon keep up and do the same? My order status says it'll ship BY 03/11 but that seems late compared to what the other carriers are doing.

Card has just been charged for taxes. Shipment date has been updated to 3/6. My phone will most likely start moving tomorrow.

Ordered on 2/23 as soon as the pre-order went live.

Told you folks to calm down. Looks like it's the end of verizongate soon.

Also, just a warning. Verizon may have FedEx hold on to the phone at their local distribution center and deliver the phone on 3/11 like they have done in the past. Still arriving on-time so they're holding onto their end of the bargain.

My card was just charged too for the edge upgrade qualifying payment. Ship date still says 3/11. I ordered the black S7 as soon as preorders went live

Mine still says processing check back later. They have not charged my card yet, only they did put 5 $1 holds on it, hopefully my status will be updated soon as well. I'm super paranoid now that in the meantime something will happen to my s6 edge preventing my upgrade lol.

Mine still says Processing. Ordered Titanium on 2/23 at night. I spoke with chat rep a few mins ago and they kept insisting over and over that the phone would not ship to anyone until 3/11 and I said that's not the case but they kept repeating over and over it's the 3/11. My card hasn't been charged yet. I wish Verizon kept all their reps on the same page about information. This always happens with them.

and fed ex works on business day shipping

Also, I did see on the app what looked like an actual receipt, but then it disappeared and now there's a PDF of the rental agreement - anyone else experience this?

Thanks for the information - does the tracking number show any more info? Like an expected delivery date via FedEX/UPS? Or did any info come your way on the IMEI/MAC number? I'm doubtful, but a representative did tell me we would get our IMEI/MAC numbers on something before we got the actual phone.

Per same rep: "I do apologize for that misleading information that you received from the previous rep, the S7 will not be shipped out until March the 11th. I know how frustrating it must be to get multiple answers from multiple , I guarantee you that no S7's will be shipped out until March 11th. If you wanted to confirm this I will be more than happy to give you customer care number and they can confirm the ship out date for you:)"

....so, as usual, nobody can say something straight.

Just confirmed that my S7 (Black) payment has been processed this afternoon and will be shipping on Monday.

My order time was 2/23 @ 8:15 AM.

Where did you confirm this with? I'm chatting with you claims to be a supervisor now who says "Alot of customers have received emails saying that their order is being shipped today, that is not true. The orders are being processed today , so that on the 03/11/2016 your phones will be shipped out immediately."

"That is correct , I Logged onto facebook and seen where people are saying that they are getting their phones today. You are going to receive your phone through Fedex. This are indeed just the preparations that samsung and Fedex are doing in order to get your devices ready for shipment. I also tried to explain this to my friends and colleagues. I guess your location plays a pivotal role here. I ordered just a plain ol' black S7 (not the edge) at 8:05 (5 minutes after they become available) and mine still says the 11th.

Also I'm not sure how you guys are seeing dates in your app. When I go to the My Verizon Mobile app, I see no tab for orders under devices or any other category.

On my Verizon I see a receipt for the phone. No name, no plan, only total payment. In the submission form they ask for a receipt with name, contract or lease and payment...

Still nada for me from 3/23 order for a silver edge. Says processing on webpage, the app says no orders, reps all say its not shippin until 3/11 and no phones are being released till then. . I loled at her on the phone and the rep online when they said no phones were being shipped until the 11th.

If I register my device as soon as I receive it and cannot acquire the Gear S2 from the promotion, VZW will be receiving an open-box Onyx S7 Edge at their local store and refunding my account. The Gear S2 is a $300 factor in this $800 purchase. It's like getting 37.5% off of the phone. That had better be honored if I perform my due-diligence of registering as soon as possible.

It's quite clear they're pushing us to make our purchasing choice based on this offer. Missing out on it simply due to shipping or too much demand is not acceptable.

I'm aware that's the typical approach. But, I have no problem sitting on the phone with support and deciding to take my business elsewhere if they're going to bait-and-switch me and try to charge a restocking fee.

Well I saw earlier this morning that my S7 Edge had shipped as well. Out of curiosity I just checked the documents and the receipt and payment plan agreement were updated. It says that it is 2 day shipping by 8pm - UPS.

You can take your business anywhere. you could even take it now if you want? It's not bait and which due to a shipping or quantity delay on samsungs part. And it's not TRYING to charge a restocking fee; you WILL be charged one.

Just checked mine and it shipped. Checked the promo page on samsung and we can only get the black/gray gear 2 with the promo or the vr and you need each phone's ID number. Can't just use the receipt or confirmation code. Had a CSR in chat tell me you could but they were wrong. Glad we will get it this week though.

I just talked to a Verizon CSR and they said that since I have a location code. It will be shipped tomorrow via Fedex and it has 2 day shipping so I hope I get it on Tuesday at least Wednesday. Also I preordered a Silver S7 Edge over the phone so fingers crossed people!!!

Wow wtf, how many different answers is vzw giving?! I talked to a cs via twitter dm about the app showing an 11/17/1858 ship date, the rep told me they were busy doing a lot updates and my order would ship on 3/11 despite the app status, I was told to check again tomorrow. And btw, fwiw, I've had a location code from day 1 when I pre-ordered on 3/3 and first got the confirmation email do idk but maybe it's true, I just don't see it where we've all received so many different answers

Um, the ship date was always March 11th, the VR gear was always limited supply. I saw the VR gear at Best Buy the other day, it's just a plastic box with 2 plastic magnifying lenses in it. Nothing special, just really fancy 3D goggles. Definitely not worth $99 or whatever Sam wants for them... IMHO No wonder they are giving them away.

That's what mine did, there was a problem with my order, got an email from Verizon to call them. Did and the rep told me they were shipping in the morning, have them by Wednesday. Mine now says order date March 6th (they had to delete my original order) and expected shipping the 11th. Even though she told me in the morning, should get tracking...

I ordered in store 2-27 & the guy ordered the wrong phone so he had to cancel and reorder. Maybe that has something to do with the weird 1858 date but I highly doubt it. Hopefully tomorrow morning I'll get shipping info. but I doubt that too.

You can get the vr just not the s2. I'm pissed cause I didn't know and went in store and the sales guy said I would have the option. Kinda pissed now since I will not use the vr. Also my wife ordered the edge in gold and she has a tracking number. I ordered the silver and I don't have anything yet. We ordered on 2/28. I'm hoping mine comes in on time. I will be out of town and having mine shipped to my hotel

Mine said shipped 3/6 yesterday and then an hour later gave me a UPS tracking number that led nowhere.

I checked again this morning, now it says shipped 3/7, same tracking number leading nowhere.

(this is after talking with a supervisor at length yesterday who (1) assured me all phones shipped 3/11 (2) FedEx was the exclusive shipper (3) any tracking numbers / shipping dates I saw were just them prepping for the 3/11 ship date.

Pre-ordered Silver Platinum S7 Edge on 3/23. Order currently says shipped 3/7/2016 with UPS tracking number. Tracking information currently unavailable but the good thing is, they're on their way!

Woke up and checked my order status, shows that it was shipped via Fed Ex on 3/6. Logging into VZW site says shipped today 3/7. Either way, the tracking number shows no information at this time. Maybe the anxiety of this new phone is what has made my eye twitch for the past week. Get em out already! Or at least let me see where the tracking info states my phone is at in the process.
