Samsung intended for the Galaxy S3 to receive the Premium Suite upgrade. Verizon decided not to release it with the 4.1.2 update. People in other countries who own the Galaxy S3 did receive it as intended. My question is, will Verizon release the Premium Suite for the SGS3? I am not asking when....I am asking will it ever be released?
I am not the first to ask this question....take a look here and you will see that Verizon did not reply: https://community.verizonwireless.com/thread/793833
So...I am asking again....please do not ignore your client base!

Verizon, your silence is not surprising...though it is aggravating.

First off to get an answer from Verizon simply dial 611 and talk to customer service/tech support/sales and they can give you your answer.
Please note this is a peer to peer customer forum, we are not verizon employees just customers that can assist with phone issues we have encountered and the fixes we used. we are not tech support.
Call verizon and ask that question asking it here will not do you any good.
Good Luck

So who is this? They seem like a representative of Verizon claiming to have hours of operation:
https://community.verizonwireless.com/people/vzw_customer_support
I took your suggestion and called 611. The analyst who answered said he never heard of Premium Suite or Multi Window. He then called Samsung and said they were unable to help. He then said he could not contact the developers or the QA team to ask about the feature.

That tag shows a verizon representative who occasionally respond here. The best way is always calling verizon tech services as you have done. Maybe if the phone manafacturer knows nothing about it and verizon knows nothing about it then maybe you have been misinformed

Not likely that the manufacturer knows nothing about it since they developed the Premium Suite software. I didnt hear their conversation (because the call was disconnected), but this is well known about Samsung and the Galaxy S3. My feeling is that the representative asked a question relating to International devices and that the Samsung rep was from the U.S. and could not comment...just a guess. You can read about the software and the U.S. Galaxy S3 all over the place...U.S. consumers on the major carriers have not received the Premium Suite...International carriers have released the software. What's worse is that the major carriers seem to not want to comment.

I would guess you are right that the American carriers don't see a need to provide it. The what is available there is not available here would seem what is happening. a shame...

As I said before, Verizon does not want you to have it yet.
Or they don't want you to have it at all. it's not that surprising to me.

Obviously, they don't want to push it to consumers yet...or possibly at all. My point in this thread is to raise awareness on the issue. And as I said before, Verizon being silent on this issue is not surprising to me. However, that does not mean I have to be silent.

How long have you been with VZW?
Verizon is ALWAYS last to do anything, that's a fact, it will come, but as always, they will be the last carrier to implement it.
Just the facts, from a 14 year VZW subscriber, who's now getting tired of them.
Another fact, if Sprint ever gets their network in a sound state, watch the rush of defections from here.

I'm sorry, but that reply does not seem helpful. Can you point me to the place on that website that might shed light on the original question of this thread? Also, if you love happy customers, why not reply to the original poster of this thread?
By stating that you do not want to be the first to market with a feature if it's not the "best of the best", are you implying that you are currently testing Multi-Window for the Galaxy S-III and have plans on eventually releasing it once it meets your QA standards? Let your clients know what your plans are for the Premium Suite or we will continue to hear how Sprint beat you to it!

As a thirty plus year financial software executive, my company not only strives to be best, we also strive to be first to market with innovation, that seems to be something Verizon has lost in the last few years.
Please note, as network connectivity becomes increasingly commoditized, agility in innovation, time to market and customer communication becomes the focal point of attaining and maintaining market share.
Sorry to say, but Verizon has fallen short in those areas of late, and many of my colleagues, also long standing VZW customers, are feeling the same as I do.
My contract is up in a year, my hope is that the rumored Vodaphone VZW ownership acquisition comes to fruition, and re-focuses Verizon on the customer. If not, then we move to the hungrier, more focused vendor.

Bobcaruso you nailed it exactly with this comment "If not, then we move to the hungrier, more focused vendor." I moved to VZW a little over 5 years ago and am in my 3rd 2 year contract (although I have purchased many phones at full price mid-contract). In the last few years VZW has not had the best phones, not had the best customer service, and have implemented change after change to their plans. Anything that benefited the customer they seem to have done away with: NE2, Unlimited Data, Plans that work well for non-smartphone users, bringing new phones to market ahead of (or at least in-sync with) other carriers, etc. At this point, yes VZW has the "best" network in many respects. However, as the other carriers catch up this is not going to be a compelling reason to stay. I suffered through Sprint and T-mobile in the late 90's and through 2008 until I went to VZW (to buy the Blackberry Storm...which was my mistake, not VZW's). I have been happy with the coverage and data speeds provided by VZW, but over time I have seen a marked shift in their "customer" focus.
I live in a metropolitan area that has good coverage by the Top-4 and have seen the strides AT&T, Sprint, and T-mobile are making to not only attract but also retain customers. In fact, even the non-major players who sell prepaid are starting to become an attractive option. As LTE continues to roll out across the other carriers and they continue to offer compelling plans, hardware, and customer service Verizon's nonchalant attitude towards their subscribers, paltry hardware offerings, and constant changes to their contracts will drive people to prepaid carriers and the other big carriers.
So I hope VZW is enjoying the money they are making now, because once their only claim to fame is not so special anymore in a few years, it will hit their pocketbook.

So in a round about way, we have our answer from
https://community.verizonwireless.com/message/956736
In short:
At this point in time, we currently don't have any information about an update to the premium suit that Samsung has released. Of course, when it comes to updates as soon as everything is approved and goes through proper testing then you can bet you'll be amongst the first to get it.
This is extremely frustrating, but again...not surprising in the least. I think I have hit a breaking point with Verizon and their ever so slow software releases.

Exactly as I told you in other forum posts. Verizon releases when they are good and ready.
They have to find a way to put bloatware in your Premium Suite otherwise your owner experience will be terrible

Even my Wifes Cricket S3 just got the update. They was later than VZW to get the JB update but they got the Premium Suite First. LOL
Come on VZW. Why you act like you have no clue what it is? Everyone has it.
