anyone know how to fix this issue?
you only have so much on-board storage & if you have added many apps you'll need to decide what you/want vs need.
chances are you have no sd card, so apps, music, pics, docs, pdf's, are all using up on-board memory.
yes except my sd card is ibstalled there's space available. there's soace to cache on the phone. A 30mb file will not fit on a drive with >1gb I think not. performed a soft and hard reset, sd card pull, sim pull. no dice same issue, issue with the software update on lollipop methinks.
