My galaxy s5 has been draining battery quickly and the phone doesnt ring when i have an incoming call sine the lollipop update
I think you are the only post that I have seen or been able to locate on the forum with "not ringing" issue with 5.0. The battery problem is a very common post on the forum.
ya i spent 45 minutes on the line with verizon trying to figure it out, had me do a hard reset and still the same issue. id what it is and yes i do have my ringer and all sounds on. its strange and frustrating

We definitely need to get to the bottom of this. Receiving calls, and being aware of them is totally important. Is it with every call? Did you check Alert Settings to ensure you have it set to Ring?
There is a Setting called Interruptions; this may interfere with all notifications when an App is open. It's in Sound and Notification.

How can you answer a call if your phone doesn't ring? You definitely need a phone ringing and we are here to help. I did have a couple questions for you. When the phone doesn't ring does the screen show that someone is calling and does the phone vibrate but not make any sounds?
