Why can I not block my outbound caller ID for all calls on my Samsung Fascinate? Am I missing something? Even Samsung told me I had to contact Verizon?
Why?

While the option to block the outgoing may not be on the handset as an option or menu, you can still block the outgoing number. Here are your two options:
1) Dial *67 and the 10-digit number. Example: *678008881111>Call.
2) You can call customer service and have them permanently block your outbound caller ID. This is a free feature they can put on your line.
This is probably why Samsung directed you towards Verizon Wireless.
