I've had my Fascinate about 2 1/2 weeks and have decided I do not like it. I guess I am too old for a smart phone and find it too complicated. Also it drops calls. I have been a Verizon customer since they were GTE and never had that problem. I got it from Best Buy.... will I be able to return it without a huge financial penalty?

nope, there is a 14 day return policy
Actually, Best Buy has different rules than Verizon. I am not sure about it, but I think their 14 day policy is to get a full refund, and they have a 30 day policy to replace it with another model phone. Here is a link to their policy:
Hope this helps, but I would get over to the store where you bought it and check out your options.

OK, I am over my buyer's remorse and actually like my Fascinate. I think I was pressing the phone against my cheek too hard and hitting the end call button. At 63 years old, it just takes longer to get accustomed to new ( new to me anyway) technology.

Good to hear, I know there are alot of people on these forums that are having problems with their Fascinate, but mine has been great, but I have also not installed the patches right off the start unless it was really needed on my phone.
Make sure you do your homework on the apps that you install, and unless you REALLY trust the site, try not to install apps from anyplace other than the Market.
Hope your phone works well for you.
