Does anyone know were I can download Software Upgrade Assistant software nfrom? It is not on the phone.
Software assistant isn't on the phone, you download it onto your pc or mac and plug your phone into USB port

But where do you manually download the software assistant if IT DOES NOT AUTOMATICALLY pop up when you plug in your phone to the computer? I do not get the auto install popup so I need to manually install the software so I can update/repair my phone!
I tried this on my Windows 10 computer and it did work, so hopefully it will work for you.
Open up the Computer or My Computer or This PC (whatever it happens to be called on your computer)
Connect the phone to the computer
Watch for a CD Drive (Drive Letter:) Verizon Mobile to appear
Double click on this CD Drive (you have to do this fast as this icon doesn't stay very long)
You should get a pop up with a RED Install Now button
Click this button to install the software
