my new galaxy s20fe 5g screen went black and now I get nothing. Was working 45 minutes ago, battery was not dead. what do I do?

have you checked to see if the display is dead? you can take it to UBreakIFix repair center
If it's new should be under warranty. Contact where you got it or contact samsung.
Hello, LJ58! I know losing the display can be disappointing. Let's see what we can do. Please, try pressing the power and volume buttons at the same time and wait for the Samsung Logo to appear before releasing. Let us know if this helps.

I want to make sure you are able to get your SIM working, jmoney8482. Have you tried any troubleshooting with your device? Does it recognize another SIM? Have you tried doing a factory reset to see if it helps?
