Trying to mirror both my samsung verison S6 and or my 10.1 Tab 4 to my tv. Have tried 3 different adaptors and none work. Any suggestions?
Using a chromecast will allow you to be wireless and use your phone for other things at the same time that you're using it to send a video or other media to the TV. This will save you screen on time and battery as well.

Thanks for your replies. I have tried 4 different devices, Monoprice, Rocketfish, Samsung, these are the wired adaptors, none worked on my Samsung Tab4 or Samsung S6. Than tried two wireless, Belkin, and Chromecast.Belkin didn.t work because I don't have a USB connection on my TV. The Chromecast works, but is temperamental. Just have to get used to it. I only want to use it to mirror my phone or tablet, while on vacation in hotel rooms or condos. Disclaimer - I am not saying the other devices are bad, just didn't work with my Samung products Thanks again for your help
Being able to multi-task on your phone can be very convenient irishrover65. What exactly are you looking to have mirror to your TV? Have you checked to see if your TV has the capabilities to support this function? Have you ever been able to successfully mirror what's on your phone to your TV?

Thanks for your reply MichelleL. I can now mirror from phone and tablet to TV using Chromecast. I have Genie Go (Direct TV) and wanted to watch my recorded shows from my DVR while on vacation or business trips.
