I have no problem receiving photos, but cannot send them. It resizes (compresses) the photo, then just tries and tries to send, but never goes through. Never had this problem until about a month ago or so - what has been changed? Getting ready to go on a road trip and would really like this feature to work again...
Try sending yourself a picture message from your phone and see if that corrects the issue. Also ensure that your cellular data is on (you may have to turn wi-fi off).

Do you have trouble sending a picture message over Wi-Fi, Data or both? Do you have trouble accessing the browser before sending the picture messages? Are these pictures that you have taken or have been saved from the browser?
I would suggest toggling airplane mode before sending the picture. Do you have a limit on MMS sent per convo? You can check via Messages > Menu > Settings > MMS per convo.
