contract ends

Question

I'm moving overseas  to Germany  after  my contracts up with Verizon in July  . I need my phone unlocked so I can use it when I'm transfered there specifically for work. When and how do I  do this ?

We wish you a safe journey, builtbyal. As Snn5 mentioned, all the global capable 4G LTE devices, like the S5, are already unlocked and don't need any special steps from us to use with a local SIM. Before you leave, be sure to call Customer Service at 800-922-0204 to discuss your account options and make any final changes before the move. We hope you consider us for your wireless needs if you return to the U.S.
