What would cause my data rate to skyrocket in 3 days? I had transfered some pictures to email and that was all I did and that was yesterday

Under that chart, what's been using the data? (you may have to scroll to see the entire list)
btw ... if you check Show Wi-Fi Usage, then you'll see a similar chart for your wi-fi usage once you click the Wi-Fi button beside Mobile.

Are you sure that the e-mails did indeed send and that they aren't stuck trying to send?

seems like a 30 second video I did on the phone is the culprit. It ate up over 1 GB just trying to download to my email account

Don't see how, I can stream a full movie from Netflix and it will use less than one Gb of data, so there is something more at play here. Have you gone into your account details about data usage to see what the big data files are?

I go to >settings>data Usage>
and it gives me a chart showing the usage.
if I touch left corner of phone it opens with the following options:
data roaming
restrict background
auto sync data show wifi usage
mobile hotspots
none of those are checked

You can touch each application listed in the data usage graphics area to see what each application is using.
I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

thx I scrolled down and it shows exchange services was 2.24 gb. That was my culprit I guess. So I had tried to download an 30 second video yesterday that I took. Maybe some how it got hung up? that was all I did any different
