delivery reports

I checked the box for a delivery report for my text messages but I still don't get one. Am I doing something wrong?

Thanks for the model, TnMocha! Yes, you should be able to get Delivery Reports for that model. Please follow this path: From the device home screen, tap Apps> Settings> Applications> Messages> Text Messages. When you get there, make sure "Delivery reports" is checked. If not, check it and then test again!

Mine is checked but I'm still not getting them when I send them to a Verizon Wireless customer.  It was working up till now.
