does texting go against my data plan with everything more unlimited talk

I have data usage but have not been outside of my home wyfi.so the questions is does this texting go against the data used or is it completely phone to phone?

Texting and MMS do not count against data. Do you have unlimited talk and text? Data is a separate issue. MMS uses data, but not billable data if on an unlimited texting plan.

I do have the more everything plan with unlimited talk and text. Do have the plan with 2 gig of data. We are new to this. I am not too sure I understand what MMS is. Appreciate your help.

Of Note: Facebooks "Messenger App" .. "DOES use your Data Plan". Because... FB Messenger APP is "not" an SMS/TEXT Messaging application (App) ... And it's a lot of Data it uses.

Yea it's a Pill ta swallow too because the Way FaceBook separated the 2 instead of them as one..

You can download the FB app and the Messenger app, then disable the messenger app, but leave it installed, and then you can use the FB messenger thru the FB main app.
