My fascinate has no signal, there is a blue circle with a line going through it, like a no smoking sign, and when ever i try to activate it says not registered on a network. When I check phone settings baseband and hardware are unknown, so is min, phone number, meid and all the other information. The phone is also very slow and almost none responsive. I called samsung and I do have a warranty, but they said to contact verizon first. What should I do? is there anyway to fix this?

Almost every problem I have had with mine can be fixed by shutting it off, removing the battery, then hold the volume key upwith the battery out for a few seconds ( I guess that drains off residual power), leave the battery out for at LEAST 10 minutes. Put the battery back in and turn it on.
