galaxy s3---text keyboard

I have 2 of the gs3,  and like you one has switched to the new gesture keyboard (ala graphitti).    I can't use it.

the other device has the original keyboard with the ABC in lower left corner,  which on the new keyboard is gone.

No solution, just same problem.

You could try to go into menu>settings>keyboard & input and see if the gesture keyboard is a separate keyboard that you can uncheck.  Otherwise, press the settings button and disable it in there.  I don't have the S4 so I'm not 100% positive on the fix.  Maybe could help.

Have you tried switching to another keyboard? You could try the Google keyboard from the Play Store.

I know Samsung started added SwiftKey Flow and their predictions to the Samsung keyboard, but it isn't the same as the official SwiftKey keyboard.
