My Galaxy Nexus has suddenly lost the ability to get a signal. I get no bars. I've tried removing the battery & sim, waiting and putting them back in, with no luck.

Having service is a must these days! Let's look further into this for you. How long has your phone been like this? Did anything change on it before this began: any software updates or new apps downloaded? Does your device just show no signal in one specific spot or everywhere you go?

Phone has been like this for a week. Nothing changed before it began. I was sending a text to my husband and got a message there was no service and it would be sent when a connection was made. It shows no signal everywhere. I took it to a phone store and they put my sim card in another Verizon phone and it showed 3 bars signal. So, apparently my phone is dead?

How do I fix poor signal or get more cell towers in a particular area? My phone displays 1x while I'm at work which is 9 hours out the day. I cannot send or receive text. Make phone calls or receive & send emails. It can be very frustrating being all my personal & important calls come to my cell. I just recently switched to Verizon after being with AT&T for many years. I am highly disappointed.

All looks good in that area. How long has this been going on? Is the issue only while indoors at work? What happens when you attempt to send or receive text, place a call or access data?
