how to unlock my old s20 for my friend to use

hi i have an extra s20 and s21 that were both on my account and i find myself in a spot where a friend really needs a helping hand and a phone would help but i need the phone to be unlocked for him to use it with his carrier so how to i go about making that happen?

If it was on verizon postpaid for 60 days or more, and has been paid off, it should already be automatically unlocked. Do you know that it isn't?

That is a great question, and we can certainly try to assist. We would need to take a look at the account in order to make sure that the phone is unlocked.
