Yes, if you have cellular data on when it's playing. Use wi-fi as much as possible.

You shouldn't be getting data charges if wi-fi is on and being used. I always keep my cellular data turned off until it's actually needed, to be on the safe side.
As tiki suggested with Wi-Fi on and Data in off position you should be good to Dance those Tunes with No worry of any Data Charges,, I use my Wi-Fi to Listen to Slacker by the Way b33
