im not able to connect to the play store, hence not being able to open some apps

I just purchased the Samsung 5 and it is not letting me connect to the play store.  Went to verizon earlier and got it to work. now not working. help???

This is very strange rjp013! Did you see what they did at the store to make it work? Power off/on and test. Make sure that you are connected to the internet via cellular network or WiFi. Keep us posted.

Pull up google playstore in the application manager, and delete the cache and the data. relogin. Then it will work but make sure you have background data enabled or it won't work. google play must have background data enabled. I learned this from personal experience.
