is the galazy s5 unlocked for international sim cards

Question

I am going to Europe for an extended period and want to use an International SIM card in my Galaxy S5.  If the phone is unlocked then this is feasible.

1. How do I determine if it is unlocked?

2, If NOT will Verizon unlock it for me?

3. Is there a fee to unlock.

4. How do I contact Verizon to unlock the phone.
