message+ app

I have an issue with the message+ app on my Galaxy s6. I have auto driving mode set up to turn on when it detects my cars bluetooth. It always turns on fine which is good but it shuts itself off all the time. It seems it may be random when it shuts off but also possibly when I drive by a familiar WIFI spot and it detects a wifi connection.

i had a problems with message + switched to default messaging.

What is your default messaging? My Verizon S6 came with message+ installed as default.

It should be an application called Messaging and could have an icon that looks like an email envelope (at least that what I remember from the S4).

There is a app called Messaging made by Samsung but that app does not have options for auto reply in driving mode so that would not work for me. Verizon Messenger app is now called Message+ so that is default for using Verizon. I am looking for a fix to why the driving mode shutting off on it's own while I am still synced with car's Bluetooth.

Bearone21, that is a good suggestion. I want to make sure that we get all of your features working the correct way, arachnofreak. Has the only been a problem recently with your Galaxy S6? If you have wi-fi turned off in the phone and it's in driving mode, does it seem to stay connected? Please keep us posted.

I am not sure if shutting the Wi-Fi off fixes the problem as I never think to shut it off when I get in the car but I will try. This is the only phone I have used this option on so I don't know if that has anything to do with it. I also use this auto response feature when I am cycling as it detects the Bluetooth connection to my Garmin edge cycling computer. I have both Bluetooth connections checked off in the driving mode option. The phone seems to always go out of driving mode for no reason even though it is still linked to Bluetooth.

Thank you for the additional details, arachnofreak. We definitely want to make sure your message app is working properly on your phone. Please test out the phone with wifi off and let us know if you still have trouble. Is the message app up to date? Is the software on the device up to date?
