After the recent update this evening, I noticed a new symbol in the annunciator line on my Fascinate. It looks like a diamond with a horizontal wi-fi symbol. I don't remember seeing that before the update. Maybe something was turned on during the update?

After an VZW update this morning, I have this new symbol too. I followed the directions to turn off the location part of the symbol. But is it a coincidence that I cannot connect to my work email? I'm getting spotty uploads of my yahoo mail, nothing all day from work. Any ideas? suggestions?
Location settings (gps, specifically), has nothing to do with your data connection. if you turned off your data connection, thatwould stop you from getting data, but it isn't in the location menu.
