The standard "family base" features does not work on an s7. What can we do to keep our kids safe with a new cell phone?
Email the developer of the application. The more people who complain through the developer email address, the more reason they have to update the application.
How exactly are they not working? Have you installed the companion application on the phone?
We know how important that feature is for our young users, JCP123. Currently the Family Base Companion app is not compatible with phones on Google’s Android Marshmallow. The developers should have had access to the Marshmallow SDK since before the OS was released to the Nexus devices. They should be working on future compatibility with the Android N preview now too.
When I bought the phone at best buy, they added the family protection..but
it's not available. I'm not sure if I I was charged.

We have had the companion on our son's S3 but upgraded him to a note5. Thinking about canceling family base until their is an update cause I don't want to pay for something that isn't helping us.
How close to a fix are you?
How do you have a.Verizon app thats not compatible with the new OS Marshmellow. Ehen they hold out to release to make sure it is with other apps. Someone dropped the ball. Please get a fix for the Galaxy S7
It is the same for my son's new S7. The companion app won't work. Have they fixed it yet?
