phone blocking calls from a favorited contact

Hi all, one of my contacts is being blocked by my phone and I cannot get calls from him. This is despite me never blocking him and I have him as a favorited contact.

I cannot fix this and it is really annoying. I have tried searching for help but everything leads me to the ability to block calls, which is irrelevant here. Customer service is not open on the weekend and the chat function has been useless.

How can I get Verizon to stop blocking a contact I WANT to get calls from??

Not to worry, I will be happy to help here. Tell me a bit more about this situation with that one contact. Have you tried deleting the contact entry and then adding it back from scratch to test calls afterward?

When did this first begin to occur? Have you ever set up any blocks via the MyVerizon website or app?

It started 12/1/22. I have never blocked this person. Not in the app and not on the website.
