for some reason sometimes my ringer, alarm, text notifications will only ring for a split second and stops without even going near the phone...other times it goes through its full ring cycle...quite annoying especially when my alarm does it because it is so quick it doesn't even wake me up...ascending ringtone is off...my husband has the same problem on his fascinate...anyone else have this problem or know how to fix it? tried stock and made ringtones no difference...does it most with texts
ice.candi, I really have no rhyme or reason as to why the notification sounds are not completing their cycle, but I would like for you both to complete a soft reset on the phone and then test it out over the next few days.

lol, I restart my phone every few days anyway to boost the speed...has no effect on the ring length it's just strange that sometimes it goes through the full cycle sometimes it doesn't...seems to be a Samsung problem being both fascinates and the s3 all do it...I've already been to Verizon about it and did a factory reset which didn't fix it either with absolutely no apps except yours on the phone...just more curious if anyone has this problem or if it's just me...I've made sure all motions are disabled in case it was sending a flip or proximity...so pretty much out of ideas
