Hi,
for international traveling, I would like to unlock my samsung g3. i already put some questions here, and someone gave me answer.
I really appreciate this. but somebody told me, there is two different type of unlock. one is usim unlock, other is country unlock.
my friend told me that my phone should have country unlock for international using. what is country unlock?
Do I need to request country unlock and usim unlock? where can i put this asking at verizon?
please help me understand this. I'm traveling to s.korea. I still under 2year contract, but it will be terminated on June 2014.just 6 month left.
thanks.

I definitely don't want to lose you carguys! Is there a specific reason for this disconnect in June of 2014? Please accept my follow request, follow me and send me a direct message with your mobile number and verification.
Verizon Wireless can help with unlocking sims for international use. Verizon Wireless locks the 3G sim on a global phone and the global device must be unlocked to insert another carrier's 3G sim. Sim lock does not apply to any VZW 4G LTE device with global roaming capabilities. These devices are able to be used with a third party local sim card without any additional steps to unlock the device. Prior to traveling abroad, it is recommended that customers with a VZW 4G LTE global capable device add the appropriate global plan/feature to their accounts and activate and keep their VZW 4G sim card in the device if our Global Service is needed. You can view roaming costs here http://vz.to/1aGvDAs Customers have the option to switch to a local third party sim card when traveling internationally. You can contact our global department at 800-711-8300
for additional global assistance. Thank you.
