Anyone else purchase a new phone then have it lose all your contacts on a continuous basis only to have Verizon say, there is no problem. Just give it some more time? Hardly CAN CALL THIS CUSTOMER SERVICE.

I Have all my contacts stored to Google as default. Doesn't matter what phone or network, I can always get them on my phone or tablet.
which phone did you have before, which do you have now?

Galaxy 5
Not sure what difference that should make. A new phone should work without wiping everything out.

I'm hitting my head on the wall.... Your contacts don't just magically appear because they should. They have to be stored somewhere. Since I have twice switched carriers, I don't use the carrier backup. All of my contacts are attached to my google account. New contacts added to my phone are by default, added to my google contact list.
In order to solve your problem, we have to know where you contacts are stored or backed up.
How were they transferred to your new phone.
Do you still have the old phone?
