"My Files"

I seem to have folders under "my files" which may have been created by apps that I installed and then deleted, but for some reason, those files stay behind. How can I tell the ones that are safe to delete from the ones that are not. It is not always easy to identify them as belonging to a specific app. I just want to make sure that I don't delete something that the phone needs to function properly.

I typically don't delete anything unless I know for sure what it is and that I don't need it. You do have a couple options though, you could back up everything to your computer so that you have it just in case, or you could open up any folder you are unsure of and delete any that are empty.

Thank you. I had backed up everything and ended up putting it back on the phone. Just got a little paranoid :-) I thought it might have been an easy way to save / clear up internal memory.
