recieved refurb phone ,installed the bad version VRBMD3..Automatically

Just to start off,Verizon does acknowledge there is a problem...if you call customer service....on here good luck with that.

I to am extremely upset that after finally agreeing to a crap refurb,it auto installed this update, now i have read others on here doing the same and it auto installs the previous version...What gives???    Before it is said i did no manual update just the initial startup,I was told by tech that they already removed the auto update and was only available if you did a manual update...... NOT TRUE VERIZON

Also of note, the only way verizon listens is when they start losing money,   So my suggestion is

Every week that you do not have data service, call up verizon and demand a credit for mobile data....My thoughts are if enough ppl do this they will start losing money, and with these big corporation's the only way they listen is when there pocket is hit

So far i have been credited 2 weeks

I think that is the fastest fix I have seen VZW do!  I really did not think it would be this fast...but I will wait to update my phone until I see what everyone else will say about this update in the next few days.  Good Luck with the update, I sure hope it is going to go good.

There is supposed to be an update (VRBMF1) out as of today that hopefully will correct all the problems.  Oddly enough if you read the docs on it, it is almost repeated word for word as the VRBMD3 update was.  There are a couple of posts on here about it and it seems to have corrected the connectivity problem.

I have read several post on other boards that the new release is a fix for the S3 bad release of a few weeks ago and is working for them.  I still have not installed it yet but I am sure I will have to get it soon.  I am just waiting a little longer to see what enough people say.

Well before the VRBMF1 update came i called verizon and they sent me a replacment refurbished phone......the day after i received it the MF1 update came on my original phone so I updated it.........after 2 days of playing with it.....it seems a little better but the 4g is still spotty definitally not as good as it used to be...I THINK.....i dont know .......so should i keep my original phone or used the refurbished.......I dont want to switch phones and then the refurbished phone ends up having the same update/version as my original phone......
