text messages going to my email as well ?

Just got my s4 yesterday...all texts that i get and send come through to my email as well.

My friend says the same thing happens on her s4 too... that's overkill ! can this be stopped?

Hey there 4bigdogs,

Congrats on the new S4! I hope that other than this text messaging issue that you are enjoying the phone so far.

I know one message is enough and I can certainly assist. The S4 carries an option to sync your text messages with your exchange e-mail address.

To turn that off go to Settings > Accounts > Microsoft Exchange Account > Settings > Name of Account > Scroll to the very bottom. Uncheck 'Sync SMS'.

I appreciate you following up with us. There was one brief step that was missing. After scrolling to the bottom, there should be the option for "more settings."

For example; menu> settings > accounts > Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync> Settings > click the name of account > Scroll to the very bottom> More settings. Scroll down and uncheck "Sync SMS."

The below does not work on my phone at the end of your process there is NO Sync SMS to be found...

Luckily the problem no longer happens, not because of your below email...
