I have a Galaxy S4, Model SCH1545.  All of a sudden the text in the messaging app went to large.  It came in that

way from somebody and all my saved texts and the ones I do also are in large.  I tried changing the volume, font size,

every comment from online discussions and none of them have worked.

Hello Desertares! Let's get this all sized up for you! If you can please go to Settings > MyDevice (at the top) > Display > Font Size. Here you can customize it back to normal if you prefer. Then power off fully to reset. Keep us posted if you need further assistance. Thanks!
