unfortunaely contacts has stopped? I force stopped and cleared the cache but that didnt work. If I clear the data will I lose the contact info

I think my phone has a demon. I'm not sure, Unfortunately contacts has stopped Smiley Sad I may not want to talk to them but I do want the option. What next?

First try to disable and re-enable Contacts and Google Services in your app manager. If you cannot, then clear the cache for both. If still no joy try Contacts Sync Fix – Android Apps on Google Play
