Why can't I make a video call with my samsung galaxy S7. I have turned on video call but I am not connecting with another verizon member
We want you to be able to use that great feature, lindyhoro. Is the person you are calling also using a non iPhone and have video calling enabled on their phone? Are you connected to LTE or WIFI when making that call?

My fiancé also has a Samsung S7. So I have to enable the video call ability on her phone as well, correct? I have read that it doesn't matter if it attempted by WiFi or 4G. Was this information correct?
This is correct! HD Calling would need to be activated on any device that attempts to utilize Video Calling. Video Calling is capable of being completed on either WiFi or the network. Though, usage rates would apply if utilized on the network.

I'm on my WiFi, and I have my mobile data turned off. When I try to make a video call, it says that I'm required to turn on my mobile data. If I can make a video call using my WiFi like this post says, why am I required to turn on mobile data?
