when i turn on the mobile data on all my picture messages pop up as new messages when they are 2 days old then im able to see them but why? they stop when the mobile data is off.
To get an mms you must have mobile data on. That's the way it works. Any mms that arrived for you at Verizon while your mobile data is off are saved and sent out when you turn mobile data on.
Picture messages can only be sent and received through the Verizon Wireless network and it requires the cellular data connection on to work.

MMS will not send/receive when on WiFi...They will be held in Que. If you try to send MMS with WiFi on , I have found that even after turning WiFi off, you have to resend the MMS via VZW network. Hth.
