every MMS I receive arrives with the message content replaced with a button makes me download the message. it only started doing this after i upgraded my text plan to full MMS. is there a setting that has to be changed?
kashopper,You should definitely be able to get messages from iPhones! Some customers have what is called "iMessage" set up on their iPhone and they can't send those to you but you can absolutely get regular MMS from them. Is your mobile data turned on when this happens? http://vz.to/15J8n9Z If you go into your messaging app and then the settings, is "auto retrieve" turned on?AndrewT_VZWFollow us on Twitter @VZWSupport
Could just be a slight change in the plan or the way the messages are handled.. if it not to much to worry about I'd let it slide. you might check your My-Verizon it may have options to adjust this..
kashipperLet's get this figured out! Is this happening with all text or just specific numbers that text you? Are you connected to mobile data or WiFi when this happens? What zip code are you in? JorgeO_VZW Follow us on Twitter @VZWSupport
all texts I get (individual or group) now tell me to download to see the
message. these are not with photos or videos, just texts received through
my MMS service. It happens whether i'm on wifi or wireless. it didn't
happen when i had a plain SMS service.
thanks for responding!

kashopper,We definitely don't want your texts to be a chore. How long has this been going on? Do you use the stock messaging app on the phone or a 3rd party texting service?SandyS_VZWFollow us on Twitter @VZWSupport
for about a month, since i upgraded my text plan to a full MMS... it might
have something to do with everyone else i know having an iphone too. i've
read some blogs that say iphone and android messaging aren't compatible?
